My television reporting

From the archives of my time at WTOC-TV in Savannah, GA.

In June, 2002, I signed on with WTOC-TV in Savannah, Georgia, as a producer for and an on-air reporter until moving up to corporate in 2008. Generally I did a couple on-air reports a week, usually internet- or technology-related stories, though I’ve done regular news.

Here are a few examples, all written and edited by me:

Video game wall
Our friends at the Creative Coast put up their Savannah tech video billboard with the added bonus of Pong, Pac-Man, and Asteroids.

Benedetto comes to Savannah
High-end guitar maker Bob Benedetto relocated his manufacturing operation to Savannah…not every media event comes with jazz music, but this one did.

Ed Roberts: Father of the PC
The man who invented and marketed the Altair 8800 in 1976, the world’s first personal computer, is now a doctor in a small Georgia town.
